Jog today, was just like any other session, except it was drizzling. Cool and slight damped.
I looked down, the silhouette reflected on the wet asphalt told you you're in form, looked good, and keep moving. With the wet socks shifted into my palms, my feet inside the well, if not overly-perforated mesh toeboxes of rotation today, seasoned Orange/black Mizuno Evo Cursoris took their time cutting through and enjoying the cold air with every stride.
The route clocked, even with the slight earlier than usual starting point, surprised me: thought-to-be 6km route turned out to be 8.2+km from the online map calculation. The worrying speed that dropped to 8km/h region recently, in this run, turned out to be 11.88km/h, with 41'25" recorded. I can only say the workout paid off.

Alright now, keep moving on~

跑著低下頭看著倒影在濕了的柏油路面的剪影,映出的是推動力。風迎面吹,冷的。除去被踏步動作濺進鞋裡的水浸濕了的短襪,已經磨合了的橙/黑 Mizuno Evo Cursoris 栓頭超大孔網布讓腳丫得到公平對待,搶先享受著第一手冷風的待遇。
以為大概六公里來回的路程,就算加上今次比平時較早的算入熱身路段的計時也不會多到哪裡。身體感知的速度,時間也差不多。但是測量的結果,是八點二+公里。用網上計算器, 8.2公里, 41分25秒:速度是11.88km/h。最近徘徊在 8 - 9 km/h 的自己有點驚訝。

   Airbag is the way to go. Lunarlon, no.
   It is intriguing to observe people's behaviour of worshipping a brand, that they perceive things selectively, ie. only the positive informations.
First, Lunarlon by the swoosh.
   Even the recent iteration ( I cannot say for the latest models like HD2014 because I have not tried them, but I am not far behind with Kobe 8), the longevity of foam is just disappointing. The foam was compressed, deformed and responsiveness was lost after a couple of months of not-frequent casual wears. Yes, no competitive ball games. I noticed the deterioration of responsiveness especially when I used it for badminton session, with my physical capability taken into calculation.
   Most, if not all the renowned sneakers reviewers on internet community give Lunarlon positive review. I am not sure how much play time did they actually clock that concluded that, but it can easily be speculated lesser than most of the consumers out there that going to use them on the court till they are not in usable condition, and cushioning bottomed up is NOT one of the conditions.
Second, traction pattern.
   Most, again, if not all, the popular player signature models are designed with traction design and material and is good for indoor court, and going to burn out in no time on outdoor surfaces. Take from my experience and observation: Kobe 6-9, Lebron 11, Hyper rev, Superfly 2, XX8/M10. They are either designed with thin pattern or used pliable rubber, none of these shows consideration for outdoor usage. The models specified designed for outdoor use, are either treated with mid-range technology and set-up or stripped-down version of the signature models.

  These not only showed the lack of consideration from the brand (I do not want to go to the direction of thinking the business strategy of the brand that tries to portray it is alright to not judge a performance-based product from performance standpoint, but how luxurious it can be. At the same time,pragmatic-based products are being portrayed as lower standard), but more importantly, the fact that the consumers are responding like fans of the brand, lost the rationale-based reasoning, willingly trade the products as they are with hard cash, and do not seemed to question the value of their purchases is more amusing to me.

2x ristretto latte /"more milk", to justify that barista's extraction timing, Which, according to her, was by gut feeling. Turned out... bitter than I expected. I think both the thick foam (Means little milk than I except for a latte or more milk... Whichever) and the extraction time come contributed to the bitterness.
It was warm for the other/main barista lady to make me another one, with more milk and extraction by her. The union of the milk and the shot felt better now. Of course, with appreciation from me heart!

Used PicsArt for today's edit. Pretty powerful, with even curve adjustment. But it doesn't reflect the degree of changed on the fly /drag, i.e., only after the finger left the screen. Something I would pick on. You cant monitor and changes that closely.
But nonetheless, good to have more editing app choices.

Two shots at Common Man Coffee Roasters today:
First Cappuccino was done by a friend with full of love I am sure. After taste was notable.
Then, summed up the evening with an espresso shot out of Sumatran bean, served with fancy chilled sparkling water in a small glass bottle. Fairly acidic, and full of flavour. My tongue can't tell fruitiness yet so.

Not easy to find a quiet cafe (no mass public crowd, drinking people and the fuss followed) open late. So when you found one, cherish it. Cherish it by support it.
Friday night, perfect timing. There I was at Stateland cafe again. Stayed till almost their closing time, midnight. A hot chocolate, and later Cappuccino with Terra Firma,  familiar bean that brought back little recent lovely memories.
To top it, friendly chat with the owner and service from the other co-founder chaps.

Today/now, tried Dean & Deluca, Cappuccino. Kinda expected not having latter art, but it's vindicated with the amount of foam... how a Cappuccino should be. With the smacks of poker faces and attitude by the service crew, I don't expect barista to etch a neko for me
Shot was fairly acidic but not quite aromatic, to the me now.

Yesterday, double ristretto latte. Felt it was burnt, confirmed by the barista it was burnt, with she used the same milk steamed for the previous serving that requested extra hot.

Today, double ristretto cuppa (although I ordered normal single shot, guess the barista assumed thats my preference and overwrite any other information updated).
Doesn't matter. Still good to have a coffee time in a day.

Yesterday. Cappuccino with extra shot to taste the bean lio  more. I think, that bean is just meant to be mild and low profile.

Today is a lucky day. The barista offered me a try at the new bean they just brought in, not open for counter yet, without charge.
I chose to taste it neat, ie as a shot. And that was after a long black that came with double shot as they usually served here. Three shots is going to make this another long-awake day.

Cappuccino. I think I feel the completeness of an espresso here with the relatively small serving portion. About 5-6 oz?
Daily coffee adventure for yesterday was Statement Cafe at Haji Lane. Two flatwhite's. One with single full shot and later on, tried one with 2 x ristrettos to affirm that I think, my preference is shifting towards the latter.
By the way. Great young entrepreneurs with great spirit and heart easily overcame the frequent power jump due to the circuit work of the building.
